The Krakowska Hodowla i Nasiennictwo Ogrodnicze (KHNO POLAN PLC) is one of the biggest growing and seeding company in the gardening market in Poland. It has been created in 1994 by the fusion of two local companies from Kraków: the Krakowska Hodowla Roślin Ogrodniczych, which was located in Lubicz street at that time, and the Przedsiębiorstwo Nasiennictwa Ogrodniczego i Szkółkarstwa located in the Lucjana Rydla street. From this fusion the company inherited breeding and gardening traditions from the 19th century.

We have a large number of own varieties in our offer, including 112 varieties of vegetables in 16 species and 140 varieties of flowers in 14 species. Obtaining such a range of products is possible thanks to our growers’ cooperation the scientific institutions and research institutes, as well as with circa 400 producer of seeds. We can also be proud of having our own reproductive resources in the form of growing fields and growing plants.

Quality is one of the main goals of our company, that is why we lay emphasis on high standards and immunological cultivation. Our company apply severe rigours in technological processing and attestation of seeds. We use traditional production methods which are backed up by the latest technology.

Our offer is directed towards both the individual and the corporate customer. Our retail take place through a developed distribution chain consisting of trade representatives, company shops, wholesales and gardening centres. We also present to you our website containing an up to date e-shop.
